Near Kolkata's Badi Masjid, a convocation was organized by the Social Justice Forum, Hum, Awaaz, Hindi Language Society, Utasi, and Migjan Foundation in protest against the state government's decision to conduct the police recruitment exam only in Bengali and Nepali languages. During the program, a demand was made to the state government to take appropriate measures regarding the removal of Urdu, Hindi, and Santhali languages from the police recruitment exam.
