West Bengal Minister and doctor Shashi Panja has addressed public concerns after reports of rising COVID-19 cases in Noida, urging people not to panic. She reassured citizens that the situation is under control and that the government is fully prepared to handle any potential outbreak.
Speaking to the media, Dr Panja emphasized the importance of hygiene and vigilance. “It is true that COVID cases have been reported in Noida, but there’s no reason to panic. We all have been vaccinated. What we now need is to maintain cleanliness and remain cautious,” she said.
The minister also reaffirmed the administration’s preparedness. “Our health system is alert and ready to respond. We’ve handled the virus before, and we will do it again if necessary,” she added, asking the public to cooperate by following safety guidelines and monitoring symptoms.
