Following the West Bengal teacher recruitment scam, unemployed candidates affected by the scandal are set to file a petition in the Supreme Court demanding the publication of the full list of teachers and education personnel recruited by the West Bengal School Service Commission. The petition seeks transparency regarding individuals who secured jobs through alleged irregularities in the recruitment process.
Suman Biswas, representing the unemployed teachers, stated that the public has the right to know the names of those who allegedly obtained jobs by paying bribes. He emphasized that the Commission must release the complete list of recruited candidates.
The petition aims to compel the Commission to make the recruitment details public. This legal move follows widespread allegations of corruption and irregularities in the recruitment exams conducted by the Commission, which have left many aspirants without jobs.
