The body of a 14-year-old boy, Anarul Dhali, was discovered in a mutilated condition in a field in the Uttarpara area of Gopalpur Panchayat on Wednesday morning. Police recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem examination. Anarul had gone missing the previous night after leaving his home. His family and locals searched through the night but were unable to find him.
According to police sources, the body was found in a field by local residents early in the morning, who then informed the authorities. The police arrived at the location, took possession of the body, and initiated an investigation into the circumstances of the death. The area was examined for evidence, and statements were taken from nearby residents.
Anarul’s family has claimed that he was murdered and has demanded that the persons responsible be identified and punished. The police have registered a case and are awaiting the post-mortem report to ascertain the exact cause of death. Investigations are ongoing, and all possible leads are being examined.
