Indian strike at Pak's Bholari base damaged key assets including Saab AEW&C and fighter jets

During India's precision strikes under Operation Sindoor, a specific hangar at Pakistan's Bholari airbase—located less than 100 miles from Karachi—was targeted and damaged by a BrahMos missile, top defence sources have confirmed. The hangar housed a Saab 200 AEW&C aircraft and four western fighter jets at the time of the strike.

The attack left a visible hole in the rooftop, and internal destruction was later confirmed through satellite imagery taken on May 11. The Bholari airbase was among nearly a dozen key Pakistani military locations targeted during the operation.

In addition to the Bholari strike, Indian Air Force units also destroyed air defence systems and radar installations across Punjab province, including American and Chinese radar systems and multiple missile launchers.

Operation Sindoor saw coordinated IAF action across major Pakistani bases including Nur Khan, Sargodha, Chaklala, Murid, Rafiqui, Rahim Yar Khan, and Chunian. Indian forces used decoys and dummy aircraft to outsmart Pakistan's defences, delivering serious blows to ground infrastructure and aerial assets.
