South Bengal gets new rail connectivity: Purulia-Bankura-Howrah MEMU service inaugurated today
BJP leader Dilip Ghosh, during a public outreach in Gudgudipal, West Midnapore, criticized the Trinamool Congress for its contrasting responses to issues concerning women. He pointed out that while the Trinamool protested strongly against his earlier statements about women in Kharagpur, it has remained silent on controversial remarks made by Anubrata Mandal regarding the mother and wife of an IC in Bolpur.
Ghosh questioned whether the Trinamool applies different rules when it comes to Anubrata Mandal, stating, “What is the reason behind the party’s silence on women’s respect in this case?” In addition to addressing women’s issues, Dilip Ghosh expressed concern over the increasing communal tensions in West Bengal. He highlighted the need for the state government to address the situation promptly to maintain peace and social harmony.
