PM Modi’s 11 years in office deserve ‘golden letters’, says BJP chief JP Nadda

BJP president JP Nadda on Monday hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 11 years in office, describing the period as transformative for India’s political landscape. Addressing a press conference in Delhi, Nadda said the work done under Modi’s leadership should be written in "golden letters" for the shift it brought to performance-oriented governance.

He emphasized that Modi's tenure marked a decisive break from the "corruption, scams and appeasement politics" of the previous Congress-led UPA government. According to Nadda, PM Modi’s approach brought accountability and responsiveness to the heart of Indian governance.

Highlighting key decisions such as the abrogation of Article 370, the ban on triple talaq, Waqf Act reforms, demonetisation, and the women’s reservation bill, Nadda credited Modi with bold policymaking aimed at systemic reform.

June 9, 2025, marks both the first anniversary of Modi’s third term as prime minister and the completion of 11 years of his leadership. Nadda said the consistency and strength of the Modi government have created a new standard for political culture in India.
