After evading arrest for weeks, Shweta Khan alias Fultusi, accused of running a pornographic blackmail racket in Domjur, has been arrested. Police picked her up from Alipur based on inputs from her son Aryan, who was earlier nabbed from the Golfgreen area. Fultusi had allegedly been luring young women into making pornographic videos under the pretense of offering jobs through her event management firm.
Investigators say that many victims were promised modeling contracts or were manipulated emotionally through fake romantic relationships before being coerced into the racket. The videos were later allegedly used to blackmail and exploit the women.
The police are preparing to produce Fultusi in court and expect that more names linked to the network will surface as interrogation continues. The case has raised serious concerns about exploitation behind seemingly legitimate businesses, and authorities believe the racket may have connections beyond West Bengal.
Efforts are now underway to identify other collaborators and victims who were targeted by the accused. Officials are also reviewing the financial transactions related to the event firm she was operating.
