BJP would be completely ousted from Bengal’s political landscape: CM Mamata

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, while addressing the West Bengal Assembly on Monday, launched a fierce political attack against the BJP-led central government. She alleged that the Centre has deliberately engaged in political discrimination and imposed an economic blockade on the state.

Banerjee accused the central government of acting in a vindictive manner, stating that Bengal has been deprived of rightful funds and support simply because of political differences. She described the BJP’s governance as “insensitive” and claimed it is disconnecting from the common people.

Raising the political pitch for the 2026 state elections, the chief minister confidently declared that the BJP would be “completely ousted” from Bengal’s political landscape. “We will not allow their divisive agenda to survive here,” she asserted.

Banerjee also called for united resistance against what she termed as the Centre’s “repressive tactics” and urged lawmakers to stand firm in safeguarding Bengal’s autonomy and democratic rights.
