In a direct and unyielding message to US President Donald Trump, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei declared on Wednesday that his nation would not surrender and issued a stern warning that any American military intervention would result in "irreparable damage."

This televised address came just a day after President Trump's demand for Iran's "unconditional surrender" amidst the ongoing conflict with Israel, signaling a dangerous escalation in rhetoric and raising global concerns about the volatile situation in the Middle East. Khamenei's resolute stance underscores Iran's defiance against external pressure and its determination to resist what it perceives as an imposed war.

The Supreme Leader emphasized that "intelligent people who know Iran, the Iranian nation, and its history will never speak to this nation in threatening language because the Iranian nation will not surrender." This statement was a clear rebuke to Trump's assertive tone, reinforcing Iran's historical resistance to foreign domination.

He further warned the Americans that "any US military intervention will undoubtedly be accompanied by irreparable damage," a thinly veiled threat of severe consequences should the United States choose to engage militarily. This statement highlights the potential for a wider regional conflict if diplomatic solutions are not pursued effectively.

The exchange of missiles between Israel and Iran continued for the sixth consecutive day on Wednesday, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis and regional instability. The sustained conflict has resulted in a significant loss of life on both sides, with the cumulative death toll exceeding 600.

Iran has borne the brunt of the casualties, as reported by its Health Ministry, which has put the death toll at a staggering 585 within its borders. This high number of fatalities underscores the intensity and destructive nature of the ongoing missile exchanges, raising urgent calls for de-escalation and international mediation.
