Sheikh Jinna Ali, accused of posing as an Enforcement Directorate (ED) officer and defrauding people of crores of rupees, has been arrested following raids across five locations in West Bengal. He reportedly claimed to be the Chairman of an “Anti-Trafficking Committee” and used this identity to gain access and influence.
Earlier this week, the ED, with support from central forces, conducted a raid at his grand residence in Rayna. The house was surrounded and searched thoroughly by officials. Simultaneously, four other premises linked to Sheikh Jinna in Kolkata and other districts were also searched as part of the same operation.
