Kwizdom, an initiative by Taaza TV in association with GRSE (a unit of the Ministry of Defence), is a one-of-its-kind inter-school quiz that tests students’ knowledge about Glorious India. Now in its third successful year, Kwizdom has become bigger and better with quality questions and thoughtful tokens of appreciation for every student who takes the exam.
In just 4 days, Kwizdom 3.0 has already reached over 20,000 students across Kolkata, making it one of the largest school engagement programs in Eastern India.
On 24th July 2025, Kwizdom created history by conducting its quiz for 11,000 students in 22 schools on a single day. Students from classes 9, 10, and 11 appeared for a 30-minute MCQ-based exam, where participation was compulsory, ensuring 100% engagement.
In today’s age, many believe that young minds are more familiar with America or the UK than with their own heritage. Kwizdom aims to prove otherwise. The quiz focuses on India’s culture, history, science, geography, current affairs, and sports, reaffirming how aware and connected our students are to their nation.
“Through Kwizdom, we want to show that today’s students are proud of their country and eager to learn more about it,” said Bishambhar Newar, Chairman of Taaza TV.
Kwizdom is not just an exam but a movement to instill awareness, critical thinking, and pride in India. After the preliminary round in schools, top scorers will represent their institutions in the grand finale, competing for exciting prizes, including a Disney Cruise ticket to Singapore.
Each student not only gains knowledge but also takes home a small token from the program partners, adding to the enthusiasm and participation spirit.
With strong support from GRSE, the Ministry of Defence, and leading corporate partners, Kwizdom 3.0 continues to grow rapidly. The upcoming days promise to see thousands more students participating, furthering its mission to create a generation that is aware, proud, and deeply connected to India.
As a teacher from DPS Ruby Park noted,
“Kwizdom is not just a quiz; it’s a celebration of India through the enthusiasm of our students.”
