Two young men died on the spot and another was seriously injured after a motorcycle collided with a four-wheeler late Sunday night in the Gosai Pur area of Bagdogra. The three friends were travelling from Bagdogra to Siliguri when their bike reportedly lost control and crashed into the vehicle. Due to the impact, the bike was completely damaged.
The injured person was immediately taken to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital. His condition is reported to be critical. The identities of the deceased are yet to be officially confirmed, but preliminary reports suggest that both were local residents.
Police from Bagdogra station reached the location shortly after the incident. The bodies were sent for post-mortem, and an investigation has been initiated to determine the exact cause of the accident.
