A violent clash broke out between two factions of the Trinamool Congress - Anubrata group and Kajal group - in the Avinashpur area under Suri Block 2 of Birbhum district. The incident took place near the Avinashpur bus stand, where members of both factions reportedly attacked each other with sticks and crude bombs. Three people were seriously injured, including the husband of the local Trinamool sabhapati.
