Kolkata Police's Detective Department has cracked a major house theft case under Entali police station. Acting on inputs and detailed investigation, the Anti-Burglary Squad arrested the main accused and recovered all the stolen valuables.
The team had thoroughly examined the crime scene and adopted targeted human surveillance on known offenders who use similar burglary patterns. Their efforts paid off when a reliable tip-off pointed to Ramesh Haldar, a resident of Chetla.
Based on the input, police conducted a swift raid in the Chetla Lockgate area and successfully arrested Ramesh Haldar. Following sustained interrogation, police recovered all the items stolen in the burglary.
This case marks a significant success for the Anti-Burglary Squad, as the full recovery of stolen items in house theft cases is rare.
