Sonam Wangchuk vows to continue hunger strike as CJP reclaims Jantar Mantar stage
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday flagged off three Vande Bharat Express trains and inaugurated the Yellow Line of the Bengaluru Metro. The event took place at KSR Railway Station and RV Road Metro Station in Bengaluru.
The Vande Bharat trains will operate on the routes Bengaluru–Belagavi, Amritsar–Srinagar (Vaishno Devi Katra), and Nagpur (Ajni)–Pune. The Yellow Line Metro connects RV Road (Ragigudda) to Bommasandra, covering over 19 km with 16 stations.
Traffic restrictions were in place across several Bengaluru routes from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm due to the Prime Minister’s visit.
