PM will offer Anjali to Maa Durga this Ashtami in Kolkata, receives multiple invitations
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to West Bengal, earlier scheduled for August 20, has been postponed. The tour is now likely to take place on August 22, though BJP sources have not yet confirmed the final programme.
During the visit, the Prime Minister is scheduled to attend two events at Dumdum Central Jail Ground. He will inaugurate a project under the Metro Rail network and also address a public meeting at the same venue.
The change in schedule was communicated by the Prime Minister’s Office. While August 22 is being considered as the new date, the final confirmation on his Bengal tour is still pending.
