Mohan Bhagat died after falling from the roof of a five-storey building at 17/2 Moore Avenue today morning. The fall took place from the fifth-floor roof, and his body was found in a pool of blood. Police officials said an umbrella was recovered from near the body.
He was rushed to M.R. Bangur Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival. According to police, the body bore injuries consistent with a fall from a height. The incident caused alarm in the area, drawing several local residents to the spot.
Police stated that the cause of death will be confirmed only after the post-mortem examination. Forensic teams inspected the site, and officers are collecting statements from local residents. Evidence has been preserved for further investigation.
