Court sends Councilor Mahesh Sharma to 6-day police custody in extortion case
A sudden fire broke out in a jute mill at Munshihat in Jagatballabhpur, Howrah, on Wednesday, triggering panic among workers and residents. Thick smoke and flames were seen rising from the mill, forcing nearby workers and locals to rush out in fear.
