Protesting job seekers have once again taken to the streets of Kolkata, demanding immediate recruitment for 50,000 vacant primary teacher positions. The demonstration escalated into a tense situation and a scuffle with police near the Assembly gate, causing significant chaos and traffic congestion. The protesters, who are all qualifiers of the TET 2022 examination, are demanding that the government issue a recruitment notification today itself.
