CM Mamata announces mega Mahakal temple in Siliguri

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced on Wednesday that a massive Mahakal temple will be constructed in Siliguri, with the state government currently identifying suitable land for the project. Addressing reporters during her North Bengal visit, Banerjee urged tourists to begin visiting Darjeeling again, assuring that the situation in the region is returning to normal. The Chief Minister is scheduled to return to Kolkata later today and inaugurate five Kali Puja pavilions on.
