Ayodhya is set to dazzle this Diwali with the grand Deepotsav 2025, where 2.8 million lamps will illuminate 56 ghats along the Sarayu River. A key highlight of this year’s celebration is a 32-foot Pushpak Viman at Ram Ki Paidi, depicting scenes from the Ramayana to offer visitors a unique, immersive experience.
More than 33,000 volunteers, including students, teachers, and residents, are engaged in preparing the ghats for the historic celebration. Authorities have ensured tight security, food safety checks, and controlled entry through ID verification for participants and visitors.
Saints and religious leaders have urged people to embrace Swadeshi products this Diwali. “Shri Ram has been seated in the grand temple after 500 years, and this Deepotsav is truly special,” said Saint Diwakaracharya Ji Maharaj. Rituals began with traditional aartis and the lighting of lamps for Lord Ram, Saryu, Hanuman, Sita, and the entire Ram Darbar.
With the newly inaugurated Ram Temple adding divine significance, Ayodhya’s Deepotsav this year is being celebrated as a symbol of faith, heritage, and unity, drawing devotees and tourists from across India.
