‘Bihar doesn’t want katta sarkar’: PM Modi attacks RJD, warns against return of ‘jungle raj’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a sharp attack on the opposition Mahagathbandhan in Bihar, alleging that their return to power would bring back an era of crime, extortion, and misrule. Addressing a rally in Aurangabad, he said the people of Bihar have rejected a “katta sarkar” and will stand by development and stability.

Taking a dig at the RJD-led alliance, Modi accused them of teaching children to become “rangdaars” and promoting a culture of guns and fear. “They are openly declaring that if their leader’s government comes to power, there will be ‘katta’, ‘donali’, ‘firauti’, and ‘rangdaari’. Bihar doesn’t want a government of guns and misrule,” he said.

The prime minister added that such forces endanger investment and employment in the state, urging people to remain alert. He asserted that the NDA government would continue to focus on honest governance and development. Modi also highlighted the record voter turnout of 64.66 per cent in the first phase of elections, crediting women voters for their strong participation.
