A terrifying fire suddenly broke out at a busy fish market right beside Chandrakona Road bus stand in West Medinipur district. The market falls under Satbankura Gram Panchayat of Garhbeta-III block in Danrigeriya mouza. Within some time, the flames spread quickly across several shops, turning the entire area into a sea of fire and thick black smoke. Local people first noticed the blaze and raised an alarm, but the fire grew so fast that little could be saved.Police from Chandrakona Police Station rushed to the spot along with fire tenders.
