Trinamool Congress National General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee launched a sharp attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, alleging that the Prime Minister has dismissed the people's voice as “drama.” Abhishek warned that the public will give a fitting reply in the upcoming elections, asserting that the anger on the ground reflects genuine suffering and not theatrics.
He further claimed that 40 people have died so far due to the “ill-planned and disorganized” SIR process introduced by the Election Commission. Questioning the BJP’s stance, Abhishek asked whether these reported deaths are also being labelled as drama. He said the responsibility for the ongoing mismanagement lies squarely with the authorities overseeing the process.
