Mamata warns against communal politics through her powerful X post
Kolkata’s Dharmatala Mayo Road witnessed a sea of unity on 'Sanghati Diwas' as more than thousands gathered for a grand all-religion harmony rally organised by Trinamool Congress Youth Wing. Representatives from Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian and other faiths shared the same stage with senior ministers, MPs and top party faces, sending a thunderous message: Bengal will never let divisive forces tear its social fabric. Everyone smiling and hugs each other while the crowd roars “We are one!”
Mamata Banerjee herself roars on X with a powerful post: “We will fight the destructive game of communal fire with the strength of unity.” echoed her words, praising Bengal’s unique tradition where Durga Puja committees feed iftar crowds and mosques open doors during Kali Puja. They warned against politics that tries to divide people in the name of religion and promised that Bengal will remain a safe home for every community.
Young TMC workers moves through the crowd handing out roses and sweets, turning a political event into a true festival of brotherhood. Today, Dharmatala's massive gathering ended with everyone raising their hands together for a unity pledge. For those who filled Mayo Road, it was more than just a rally – it was Bengal proudly showing the country how harmony looks when people choose love over hate.
