Who is Nitin Nabin, the new National Working President of BJP!

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday announced the immediate appointment of Bihar Minister Nitin Nabin as its National Working President. Nabin, who currently holds the Road Construction portfolio in the Nitish Kumar-led Bihar government, will assume the key organizational role immediately. An official order confirming the appointment was issued by BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh, stating that the decision received the necessary approval from the party’s Parliamentary Board.

Nitin Nabin, a five-term MLA from Bihar belonging to the Kayastha community, is widely speculated to succeed the incumbent BJP National President, JP Nadda eventually. This high-level organizational reshuffle comes at a critical time as the party begins the process of transitioning its top leadership structure. JP Nadda, originally appointed in January 2020, has already completed his foundational term but was granted several extensions to ensure continuity through major political events, including the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was quick to congratulate Nabin on his elevation, praising him as a dedicated worker who has already established a distinct and respected identity within the party organization. The Prime Minister expressed his strong confidence that Nitin Nabin's energy, commitment, and experience will be instrumental in further strengthening the Bharatiya Janata Party in the times ahead as they move into a new organizational cycle.
