The 31st Critics Choice Awards, held at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, celebrated a wide range of cinematic and television excellence, with One Battle After Another emerging as Best Picture. Timothée Chalamet claimed Best Actor for Marty Supreme, edging out strong competition, while director Paul Thomas Anderson capped a successful night with Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay wins.
The night also belonged to Frankenstein, which led the film tally with multiple technical and acting honours, reaffirming the genre’s growing awards recognition. On the television front, Adolescence dominated the limited series categories, while The Pitt and The Studio shared major drama and comedy victories respectively.
