The manager and deputy manager of a momo outlet have been arrested in connection with the devastating fire at Anandapur in Kolkata that claimed 25 lives. The arrests were made as part of an ongoing investigation into the causes of the blaze and possible lapses in safety measures at the premises.
Following the incident, police launched a detailed probe to determine accountability. Investigators found prima facie evidence suggesting negligence and violations of fire safety norms.
