Four candidates appearing for the Madhyamik secondary examination were injured in a road accident in the Kandi area on the day of the exam. The incident occurred when the students were travelling on a motorcycle to their examination centre and collided with a toto, leaving all four injured.
The injured students have been identified as Mohammad Azim Malik, Ifran Malik, Samim Sheikh and Azim Sheikh, students of Jajan Kenaram High School under the Bharatpur police station. Their examination centre was at Kandi Jemo Narendra Narayan High School. Two of the candidates were taken to the examination centre with the help of the police.
Mohammad Azim Malik and Samim Sheikh, who were in critical condition, were admitted to the Kandi Sub-District Hospital for treatment. Upon receiving information, Kandi Police Station Inspector Mrinal Sinha reached the hospital and ensured prompt medical attention, including arranging ultrasound and X-ray examinations.
Inspector Mrinal Sinha also took the initiative to ensure that the injured students could appear for their Madhyamik examinations despite their condition. His swift and humanitarian action drew appreciation from the families and locals present at the hospital.
