Bihar Govt to withdraw all cases against NEET exam protesters amid opposition, CJP pressure
A fire broke out at Flat 5B on the fifth floor of Tower 2 at Diamond City South after a diya was allegedly left burning inside the apartment. The incident occurred when the occupant reportedly lit the diya and went to the temple within the building complex, leaving it unattended. The flames soon spread within the flat, triggering panic among residents.
Fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot following alerts, but residents claimed that inadequate water pressure hampered initial firefighting efforts. According to those present, the water jets failed to reach the fifth floor properly, causing concern and delay in bringing the blaze under control. The situation was later managed, and further assessment of damage and safety measures is awaited.
