"Kolkata to get Water Metro connectivity," says Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari
Two decomposed bodies were recovered from a submerged car pulled out of Ram Sagar pond in Tonk district of Rajasthan on Sunday. The vehicle became visible after the water level dropped due to irrigation pumping in Awa village, prompting locals to alert police.
A team from Duni police station retrieved the car using equipment and found two young men inside in an advanced state of decomposition. The discovery drew a large crowd as officers secured the area and began preliminary procedures.
Police suspect the deceased may be two youths from neighbouring Bundi district who had been missing since January 8. Identification will be confirmed after due formalities and post-mortem examination, while investigators are examining whether the deaths resulted from an accident or foul play.
