Newly released records linked to Jeffrey Epstein have revealed that an Indian girl was among the victims of sexual abuse. The documents show American authorities began efforts to ensure she could receive money from a victim compensation fund.
An internal email dated January 13, 2020 sought the victim’s address and contact details so she could be approached through the United States Embassy in India. The communication came months after Epstein died in jail in August 2019.
The email, titled “Epstein Victims”, contained redactions masking the identities of officials and sensitive details. The correspondence indicates attempts by US authorities to trace and notify the victim in India regarding compensation eligibility.
