Arup Biswas is fearing arrest! Skips' appearance in Messi case citing illness
An awkward situation unfolded on Friday at Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s protest stage when a group of para-teachers suddenly reached the venue and began raising slogans to press for their demands. The disruption occurred during the ongoing protest against the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) amid a charged political atmosphere ahead of elections, drawing a sharp reaction from the Chief Minister.
From the stage, Mamata Banerjee strongly reprimanded the protesting teachers, stating that the moment was not appropriate for raising individual demands. Addressing them in a firm tone, she said the state was going through a serious situation and stressed that the protest platform had been organised to fight for the rights of people. “This is not the right time or place to stage a protest. People in the state are dying, the situation is serious, and we are sitting here for the rights of the people,” she said.
The sudden demonstration briefly created chaos and confusion at the protest venue. However, police personnel and Trinamool Congress workers present at the site intervened and handled the situation with restraint. The protesting teachers were later removed from in front of the stage, and normalcy was restored at the venue.
As per latest updates, Para-teachers protest at Metro Channel in front of CM Mamata, detained.
