ISF leader Nawsad Siddique will contest from Bhangar, announces list

Indian Secular Front (ISF) leader Nawsad Siddique will contest the upcoming West Bengal Assembly election from the Bhangar constituency. The announcement was made as part of the party’s candidate list, confirming that Siddique will once again enter the electoral contest from the South 24 Parganas seat he currently represents in the state assembly. 

Nawsad Siddique, the chairman of the ISF, is presently the sitting MLA from Bhangar and the party’s only representative in the West Bengal Legislative Assembly after the 2021 elections. His candidature is expected to intensify the political battle in the region, where clashes between rival political groups have frequently made headlines. The Bhangar constituency, located in the South 24 Parganas district and part of the Jadavpur Lok Sabha segment, has remained politically significant in recent elections. The seat has witnessed strong competition among regional parties and has often emerged as a flashpoint for political confrontations in the run-up to polls. 

With Siddique officially entering the fray again, political activity in Bhangar is expected to escalate as parties prepare for the upcoming assembly election. The announcement has already drawn attention from political observers who see the constituency as one of the key battlegrounds in the state’s electoral contest.
