Mamata Banerjee faced a brief moment of inconvenience while arriving at a rally in Purulia when her attire got snagged in a bamboo railing near the stage. The incident occurred as she was making her way through the barricaded pathway to address the gathering.
According to eyewitness accounts, Mamata’s attire became caught on a bamboo barricade installed along the route leading to the stage. Security personnel and aides immediately stepped in to assist and quickly resolved the situation so that she could proceed. Following the incident, Banerjee reportedly expressed displeasure with the security arrangements, questioning how such an obstruction was left along the passage used by her to reach the stage. The moment caused a brief interruption before the rally proceedings resumed.
Despite the minor disruption, the TMC chief continued with the event and addressed the gathering in Purulia as scheduled. The rally proceeded normally after the situation was brought under control.
