Court sends Councilor Mahesh Sharma to 6-day police custody in extortion case
BJP candidate Dilip Ghosh has given a prediction about the upcoming elections. When asked about the high-profile battle of Bhabanipur, Ghosh said that the constituency has a substantial Gujarati population that closely observes the rapid development in Gujarat compared to what he described as the "hellish" state of West Bengal under the current regime.
Ghosh expressed confidence that these voters, along with the local residents, are ready for a change and will favor Suvendu Adhikari’s leadership over the status quo. He also launched a scathing attack on the TMC government while discussing the demographic advantage in Bhabanipur.
Meanwhile, amidst growing speculation that Suvendu Adhikari is being positioned as the BJP’s projected Chief Ministerial face, Ghosh maintained a strategic stance. Speaking in Kharagpur, Ghosh clarified that the BJP traditionally does not announce a CM candidate before the results.
