Muzaffarpur hospital blaze kills 3 patients, leaves 20 injured
Amit Shah’s high-octane campaign in Assam faced a sudden hurdle on Friday morning after a technical malfunction in his helicopter led to the cancellation of a major public rally. The event was scheduled to take place at 11:00 AM in Golakganj, located in the Dhubri district.
Due to the unexpected snag, the Home Minister was unable to reach the venue on time, leaving hundreds of gathered supporters disappointed as local leaders eventually called off the program. The technical issue reportedly surfaced while the aircraft was being prepared for Shah’s series of campaign engagements ahead of the crucial Assam Assembly elections.
While the exact nature of the mechanical fault has not been disclosed, officials confirmed that the disruption was localised to the Golakganj event. Standard safety checks were immediately carried out, and the helicopter was deemed operational shortly after, allowing the Home Minister to proceed with the remainder of his day’s itinerary.
