Cops arrest man for asking 'nude' pictures of Akshay Kumar’s daughter on gaming app

The Maharashtra Cyber department has recorded its first arrest in a high-profile case involving the digital harassment of actor Akshay Kumar’s 13-year-old daughter. The arrest follows months of investigation after the actor publicly disclosed a distressing incident where his daughter was targeted by a stranger on an online gaming platform. During his initial appeal, Akshay Kumar urged Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to incorporate mandatory weekly classes in schools to educate children about the fast-evolving digital space. He emphasized that cyber crime is rapidly becoming a larger threat than traditional street crime and requires proactive education to prevent children from being carried away by online predators. The actor’s testimony has since been used in awareness sessions at Mumbai colleges to alert students to the dangers of phishing, cyberbullying, and social media security.
