State Minister Dilip Ghosh has launched a fierce verbal assault on the state police and administrative officials, accusing them of deep-seated corruption and collusion with criminals. Speaking on the current law and order situation, Ghosh alleged that the police often claim they cannot find suspects, while in reality, they spend their evenings dining with the very criminals they are supposed to hunt. He warned that if the police do not change these "bad habits" immediately, the public will take matters into their own hands, a trend he claims has already begun in several areas.

The Minister further highlighted a growing sense of "public rage" (Janarosh) against the police force. He questioned who would protect the police if the masses turned against them, noting that people are reaching their breaking point due to continuous oppression and the alleged involvement of officers in criminal activities. Ghosh urged the police to fulfill their constitutional duties honestly, warning that the scale of public anger could soon reach a level where no one will be able to save the authorities from the consequences of their actions.

Expanding his criticism beyond the police, Ghosh targeted administrative officials, including OCs, ICs, BDOs, and SDOs. He claimed that these officers have been "spoiled" after being used for illegal activities for years, eventually reaching a point where they consider illegal acts to be normal. According to the Minister, this culture of entitlement and lawlessness has deprived common citizens of their rights and subjected them to unnecessary harassment.
