Police personnel, assisted by central security forces, launched an operation after observing the growing crowd near the police station. Authorities initiated a lathi charge to disperse those assembled, leading to a chaotic situation in the area.
The police action triggered a rapid dispersal of the crowd, with people fleeing in different directions to avoid the crackdown. According to accounts from the scene, some individuals reportedly entered nearby water bodies while attempting to escape. The developments came on the same day that Jahangir Khan was reportedly taken through public areas under police escort, where he was seen with folded hands during movement related to the ongoing investigation against him.
