Balochistan splits away from Pakistan! Viral letter claims control over 85% territory

A viral statement circulating widely across social media platforms has claimed that Balochistan has declared itself an independent country under the name "Republic of Balochistan," delivering a severe psychological blow to Pakistan. According to the online letter, the Balochistan Army has purportedly managed to capture and establish control over 85 percent of the region's geographical territory. The statement further alleges that the newly proclaimed administration has already designed and implemented its own national flag, national anthem, separate currency, and an independent administrative framework.

The viral document distributed on social media also asserts that the new leadership has assumed complete operational control over Balochistan's extensive resource network, including its major minerals, vital gas fields, and local coal mines. Additionally, the letter mentions that a significant number of officials have been resigning from Pakistan's formal security agencies to extend their allegiance and support to the Balochistan cause. The development comes amidst long-simmering regional tensions and massive public protests where local demonstrators have actively raised slogans against Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir.

Crucially, the report stresses that the sensational claims made within the viral letter have not received any official validation or empirical confirmation from credible authorities. Furthermore, no recognized foreign government or major global body like the United Nations has extended diplomatic recognition to Balochistan as a sovereign state. This online development follows months of escalating regional violence involving ethnic Baloch insurgents and Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) militants targeting local security forces, which recently triggered "Operation Shaban"—a joint military crackdown by the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps, and Balochistan Police that resulted in the deaths of 109 militants since July 5th.
