Koel Mallick resigns as Rajya Sabha MP, meets Bhupendra Yadav
State minister and BJP leader Dilip Ghosh celebrated the auspicious occasion of Rath Yatra by visiting the ISKCON headquarters in Mayapur on Thursday morning. Accompanied by his mother and his wife, Ghosh offered prayers and performed aarti to the deities at the prominent Mayapur Chandrodaya Temple. Expressing his immense pleasure at being able to participate in the festival organized by ISKCON, the leader also performed a series of traditional rituals during his visit.
Alongside the temple prayers, Dilip Ghosh actively participated in a yagna ceremony alongside his wife, making customary offerings. He also took part in 'Goseva' (cow worship) at the premises, where he personally fed the cows and ritually washed their feet. When questioned by journalists regarding recent political activities and movements, Ghosh firmly stated that the doors of the BJP are completely closed to the Trinamool Congress, remarking that not even pests could enter.
The festival also drew prominent digital messages from top national and state leaders. Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared his greetings online, highlighting the Rath Yatra as a reflection of India's eternal spiritual heritage and a symbol of selfless service. Meanwhile, West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari expressed his wishes on social media, offering prayers to Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra for the all-round welfare, peace, and prosperity of the state and humanity.
