PM Modi breaks silence on NEET paper leak, demands strictest punishment for guilty

Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for the strictest possible punishment against those involved in the NEET paper leak, emphasizing that preventing such occurrences is a national responsibility. Speaking at the NDA Parliamentary Party's 'Mangal Milan' meeting on Tuesday, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju quoted the Prime Minister as urging collective efforts to build a foolproof examination system for students across the country.

Quoting PM Modi, Rijiju stated that while political differences exist, all parliamentarians share a responsibility toward the nation's youth and future. The Prime Minister urged NDA partners to remain united on legislative business and appealed to opposition parties to engage constructively in Parliament, emphasizing that youth welfare must take priority above political disagreements.

The Prime Minister’s remarks follow widespread student demonstrations in Delhi led by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over exam irregularities. A day prior to the NDA meeting, security forces used tear gas and lathicharge to halt CJP protesters attempting to march toward Parliament.
