Anubrata Mandal will have to stay in jail for now. Trinamool leader from Birbhum Anubrata Mandal was produced before the Asansol court at around 11:00 am on Friday. There his petition was heard. Significantly, advocate of Anubrata Mandal did not apply for bail. The hearing ended in about ten minutes. The court ordered to keep him in jail until February 17.

The CBI claims that transactions in crores of rupees were made from these accounts. Anubrata Mandal also got an amount. In addition, 200 accounts were found where there was only one account holder. According to the CBI, Anubrata Mandal and his daughter Sukanya Mandal made transactions worth crores of rupees through these accounts.
The money of Bhole Byom and Shiv Shambhu Rice Mill owned by Anubrata was found in this account. After January 19, the CBI conducted a search again and found another 150 new accounts. This means that a total of 330 fake accounts have been identified.
Besides, many people close to Anubrata Mandal of Birbhum were summoned and questioned. CBI has summoned Anubrata Mandal's aide and his attendant for questioning in the cow smuggling case. Arka Dutt and Vijay Rajak were summoned to the temporary CBI camp at Bolpur in Birbhum on Thursday.
