South Bengal gets new rail connectivity: Purulia-Bankura-Howrah MEMU service inaugurated today
Several trains affected due to a rail blocakde campaign by Senegal tribes protest in West Bengal's Malda district. Huge number of people arrived at the Adina station with hoardings and banners and blocked the tracks. Due to this, several trains have been stopped at different stations.
Here's the list of major trains affected:
1.) Shatabdi Express - halted at Samshi Station
2.) Kulik Express - halted at Kumargram Station
3.) Tebhaga Express - halted at Eklakhi Station
4.) Gour Link Express - halted at Malda Station
According to reports, the Senegal tribes have a 6-point demand due to which they are blocking the rail. Officials are trying to sort it out and resume the train services.
