Defying the police order of the DGP of UP, the 25-year-old policewoman in uniform allegedly posted a reel on her Instagram account with the song playing in the background.
In view of the 16-second viral reel, the 2018 batch constable was recalled from her duty at the Kirawali police station and attached to police lines.
A departmental inquiry has also been launched into the matter, DCP Sonam Kumar said on Sunday.
The UP Police recently implemented a 'social media policy' which prohibits personnel from using such platforms on duty.
