Governor Bose finally allows TMC MLAs to take oath in Assembly
Increased security measures at the West Bengal Assembly have caused a stir after an incident involving BJP MLA Ashok Dinda on Friday. According to reports, Dinda attempted to bring an acquaintance into the Assembly and was allegedly stopped at the entrance by security officials.
Dinda then proceeded to stand near the main gate for 15 minutes and engaged in a heated debate with security officials. He alleged that he was stopped because of his political affiliation, while another person who came to meet Speaker Biman Banerjee was allowed to enter.
The situation escalated to the point where the Marshal of the Legislative Assembly, Debvrat Mukherjee, was called in to mediate. Dinda reportedly stated that if he were still an MLA for the Trinamool party, he would not have encountered such issues, and even warned the security officer.
The incident comes just two days after a fake MLA was found in the West Bengal Assembly, prompting the implementation of stricter security measures. All individuals coming and going from the Assembly must now go through security checks.
As tensions continue to rise in the Assembly, lawmakers and officials alike are calling for increased vigilance and caution to prevent any further incidents from occurring. The safety and security of all individuals in the Assembly must remain a top priority.
