A young man was shot by unknown criminals in the Golmuri police station area, Jamshedpur, leaving him seriously injured. The victim, identified as Amandeep, a resident of Tuiladungri, was immediately rushed to the Tata Main Hospital (TMH) for treatment.
According to sources, the incident took place when Amandeep was walking in the area and was suddenly attacked by the assailants, who shot him before fleeing the scene. The motive behind the attack is not yet known.
Upon receiving the information, the City Superintendent of Police (SP) and other officials reached the spot and began investigating the matter. The police have also registered a case in connection with the incident and are conducting a search operation to nab the culprits.
The condition of the injured is said to be serious and he is undergoing treatment at the TMH. The police are trying to gather more information about the incident and are questioning the locals in the area.
