Expressing "pain" over the disruption of Parliament, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar on Wednesday called on the people, especially the youth, for a mass movement to create a climate and public opinion against such behavior in the "temple of democracy". He clarified that his appeal is non-partisan and not for the interested parties in politics but for the welfare of the nation.

“I also want to share my pain with you. Dr. Ambedkar was instrumental in drafting our constitution, it was debated in the constituent assembly for three years, there was dialogue, debate, discussion and deliberation. They had tough tasks ahead of them, there were several contentious issues, there were differences of opinion and it was difficult to have a common opinion,” said Dhankhar.

Addressing an event in Bengaluru, he said that despite all this, the Constituent Assembly did not experience a single disruption or disruption; no one came to the well, shouted slogans or displayed placards. “When such a great work can be done in the interest of the country by those who gave us the constitution, what is the problem that we are not able to monitor their behavior? We should do it,” he added.

We don't want our boys and girls to watch the distractions, appreciate shouting slogans and showing placards." "I appeal to you to create a climate and public opinion, use every available medium to convince, we begged with folded hands and asked our MPs to our behavior in the temple of democracy made them proud, which is for the development of the country,” he said.

Karnataka Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot and Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister J C Madhuswamy among others were present at the event. Pointing out that the country's future is the youth, the vice president said that every year till 2047, when India has to become a world leader in all aspects, economic or otherwise, "you have to be vigilant". My appeal is because we are participants in the growth of the nation, in governance, that the preamble of the constitution given by Dr. Ambedkar,” he added.
